Short synopsis : Internationally acclaimed director Claire Denis directs an all-star cast in a razor-sharp English-language drama set over 24h in Nigeria, in the vein of her classic features Chocolat and Beau Travail.

Long synopsis : A vast construction site in Africa. In their barracks, behind the fences, a young engineer and the construction supervisor. One night, a Black worker appears in front of the gate. Unyielding, crouched like a specter in the darkness, he will remain there until they return the body of his brother, who died on the site.
