Long synopsis : Miriam and Gloria, two teenage girls from immigrant families living in Athens’ underprivileged neighborhood of Kypseli, chase the dream of becoming professional basketball players. As star athletes on a grassroots team, they confront systemic discrimination and the denial of citizenship rights. Their bond of friendship gives them strength yet is tested as their paths diverge under the weight of opportunity and exclusion. Both personal and political, the film paints a lyrical portrait of girlhood on the margins of Europe — where resilience is as vital as talent.
